This movement started as a CSR project of Nano ThinkLab. Earlier it was called as NanoSathkara. 85% of  company’s profits were set aside for projects. This is the first Sri Lankan IT company allocate that much amount for it’s CSR projects. Later NanoSathkara rebranded as SamajaSathkara.lk. 2015 we could able to register it as separate entity, Charitable Organization. But its still maintain under TechLabs funds.

So far over 110,000 people have benefited from my company/foundation. This included uplifting of the living conditions by providing dry rations, houses, toilets and personal commodities to families or improving the life of whole communities such as building temples, schools etc.
So many charity organisations erupt every day, government or nongovernmental, some operate using the Facebook platform. However, TechLabs CSR – Samajasathkara.lk is unique. This is the only such organisation that reaches the people who are in need and provide instant solutions thereby empowering the communities.

Sahasna Apparel can be defined as a another important project of Samajasathkara.lk & TechLbas. Sahasna Apparel was stared in the of arms providing a permanent income to the needy other than giving a bag of goods suffient for two – three days.

We identify the ones with sewing abilities and provide them with materials, clothes sewing machines and to make them produce ready -made garments.We buy ready-made garments from them and distribute to those who are eligible for selling. So that they can earn money too.

The main institution of this is located at Diyathalawa and all the clothe stores their quality controlling, delivering and sewing are done there.

මැහුම් කුසලතා ඇති අය හට අවශ්‍ය සියළුම අමුද්‍රව්‍ය  සහ මැෂින් ලබා දී ඔවුන් මසා නිම කරන ඇඳුම් අප විසින් මිලදී ගෙන කුසලතා නැති අය හට ලබා දීමෙන් ඒ අයටත් ආදායමක් ලැබෙන ලෙස වෙනස්ම වූ සැලසුමකට අනුව මෙම කටයුත්ත සිදු කෙරේ. මෙහි ප්‍රධාන මධ්‍යස්ථානය දියතලාව ප්‍රදේශයේ ස්ථාපිත කර ඇති අතර මසන ලද නිමි ඇඳුම් වල තත්ව පරික්ෂාව, බෙදා හැරීම මෙන්ම ඇඳුම් මැසීමත් මෙහිදී සිදු කෙරේ.

As the pure intention and of disseminating pure Buddhism throughout the world, creating of FREE Websites for every Temple was launched as the title of “Punyabhoomi – Website for the Temple” We invite zealous and well educated people who are motivated to donate and to facilitate the development of such temples / monasteries, and also means of finding aid directly to the temples, Dhamma Schools and people who are in need in the community through these websites.

The warmhearted engineers at TechLabs are ready to provide this opportunity free of charge. It’s proud to say that at the beginning the very first few websites were launched by the Hon. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Hon. Namal Rajapaksa and the Hon. Minister Chamal Rajapaksa.

නිර්මල වූ බුදු දහම ලොව පුරා ප්‍රචලිත කිරීමටත්, අඩු පහසුකම් සහිත විහාරස්ථාන පිළිබදව පිනට කැමති පුද්ගලයින් දැනුවත් කර ඔවුන්ට පහසුවෙන් එම විහාරස්ථාන / ආරණ්‍ය සම්බන්ධ කරගෙන ඒවා සංවර්ධනය කිරීමට මග සලසාදීමේ අරමුණින් සහ විහාරස්ථානයට සෘජුවම විහාරස්ථානය, දහම්පාසල හෝ ගමේ දුප්පත් දායකයින් වෙනුවෙන් ආධාර සොයාගැනීමේ මාධ්‍යයක් / වේදිකාවක්  ලෙස සෑම පන්සලකටම නොමිලයේ වෙබ් අඩවි නිර්මාණය කරදීම සදහා මෙම “පුණ්‍ය භුමි – පන්සලට වෙබ් අඩවියක් වැඩසටහන” ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.

Our organization has been successful by using of contemporary technology and Website. The Charity Foundations, Programs, Movements and all the Activities that serve the country can be developed if they have a Website. In order to achieve the goals and help the people of the country the engineers of TechLab develop FREE/low cost websites.

අපගේ පදනම අද මේ තරම් දියුණුවක් ලබලා තියෙන්නේ තාක්ෂනය සහ වෙබ් අඩවිය භාවිතා කිරීම නිසා. රටේ සුභසිද්ධිය වෙනුවෙන් කටයුතු කරන සමාජසේවා පදනම්, වැඩසටහන්, ක්‍රියාකාරකම් වලටත් වෙබ් අඩවියක් තිබුනානම් ඒවා ඊටත් වඩා දියුණු කරන්න පුළුවන්. එම නිසා එවැනි අයට අතදීමක් ලෙස නොමිළයේ හෝ ඉතාමත් අඩු මුදලට වෙබ් අඩවි නිර්මාණය කිරීම මෙමගින් සිදුවෙනවා.

“Advancement of Technology has contributed to the upliftment of human life in many ways” is a widely agreed upon statement. However, there’s also another side to this story. Now a days, we hear more and more stories about how people, especially youth groups go astray through misuse of technology. These incidents have accelerated to a certain point where most of the parents, especially in the grassroots settings have started to show an aversion towards exposing their children to advanced Technologies.

“IT Yahamaga” is an initiative of SamajaSathkara.lk & TechLabs to counter this growing issue. Through this program, we seek to educate grassroots students and IT Teachers about; if used properly, how technology can change our lives and the society we live in for the better.

“තාක්ෂණයේ දියුණුව බොහෝ ආකාරවලින් මිනිස් ජීවිතය නඟා සිටුවීමට දායක වී තිබේ” යන්න පුළුල් ලෙස එකඟ වූ ප්‍රකාශයකි. කෙසේ වෙතත්, මෙම කතාවට තවත් පැත්තක් තිබේ. තාක්‍ෂණය අනිසි ලෙස භාවිතා කිරීම තුළින් මිනිසුන්, විශේෂයෙන් තරුණ කණ්ඩායම් නොමඟ යවන ආකාරය පිළිබඳ කතා දින ගණනක් අපට අසන්නට ලැබේ. මෙම සිදුවීම් එක්තරා ස්ථානයකට වේගවත් වී ඇති අතර, බොහෝ දෙමව්පියන්, විශේෂයෙන් බිම් මට්ටමේ පසුබිම තුළ තම දරුවන් උසස් තාක්‍ෂණයන්ට නිරාවරණය කිරීම කෙරෙහි අකමැත්තක් දැක්වීමට පටන් ගෙන තිබේ.

“IT Yahamaga” යනු වර්ධනය වන මෙම ගැටලුවට මුහුණ දීම සඳහා SamajaSathkara.lk සහ TechLabs හි මුලපිරීමකි. මෙම වැඩසටහන තුළින් අපි බිම් මට්ටමේ සිසුන් සහ තොරතුරු තාක්ෂණ ගුරුවරුන් පිළිබඳව දැනුවත් කිරීමට උත්සාහ කරන්නෙමු. නිසියාකාරව භාවිතා කරන්නේ නම්, තාක්ෂණය අපගේ ජීවිත සහ අප ජීවත් වන සමාජය යහපත් ලෙස වෙනස් කරන්නේ කෙසේද? යන්න පිළිබදව දැනුවත් කිරීම සිදුකරයි.

The program was launched with the aim of helping the disabled but differently abled to reach out to the world.

ආබාධිත නමුත් විවිධ හැකියාවන් ඇති අයගේ හැකියාවන් පිලිබදව ලොවට දැනුම්දී ඔවුන්ට සහය දැක්වීමේ අරමුණින් මෙම වැඩසටහන ආරම්භ කරන ලදී.
